Most people from the north have no clue what snow cream is. But in my family it is a snow day tradition.
Start with clean fresh fallen snow. Depending on how much you are making will depend on the quantity of snow required. Mix milk sugar and vanilla in a bowl until the sugar dissolves. Then fold in the snow and watch the magic of snow cream form! Enjoy immediately as the snow will melt fast leaving you with sugar milk! Follow up with a cup of hot cocoa and a movie or in our case more boards studying!
