Club Membership Plan Concept Lands Sherman Alum in the News

Sherman alumnus and Westerly chiropractor Chris Kerszko is getting some attention from the media for his implementation of a concierge fee structure in his practice. His patients have the choice of pay as you go or they can pay a 'club membership' fee for unlimited visits.

Making Adjustments in Life

From chemistry teacher to chiropractor with a few more career paths thrown in, Sherman alumnus Richard Hightower, ’98, has learned to adapt and adjust to life’s opportunities.

Gulf Coast Newspapers (Alabama) reporter Donna Riley-Lein discovered his interesting life story in an interview with Dr. Hightower as evidenced by the article entitled Hightower is accustomed to making adjustments in life.

Alumna Katie Houpt Shares Mission Trip Experience

Who is that on the cover of the November 17th Chiropractic Journal? Why, it's our own Katie Houpt, a 2004 graduate of Sherman who took a chiropractic mission trip to Haiti and is sharing her experience with the chiropractic community. Thanks to the Chiropractic Journal for picking up our story about Dr. Houpt which first appeared in our Sherman Shares newsletter.

Spartanburg Community and Sherman Colleges Forge Agreement

Sherman College is strengthening its relationship with Spartanburg Community College to give our future students an affordable and smooth transition in gaining their pre-requisite courses for the Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. 

In the newly established Pre-Chiropractic Institute at Spartanburg Community College, students can combine an associate of science degree with a 26-credit pre-chiropractic certificate program that will fulfill Sherman's pre-requisite requirements. Completion of the program gives the community college students guaranteed admission to Sherman and paves the way for an easy transition into the DC program.
