Our mail room manager (copy goddess) Angela Thrift recently retuned from a cruise to Alaska and shared with me photographs of the beautiful land and seascapes she experienced. She even saw whales and has a whale of a story about being close enough to touch one that was alongside the excursion boat.
You know, Sherman College and the FSCO are hosting a 7-day Alaskan cruise next year. Perhaps you'll want to plan to be on board July 25-August 1, 2007. The ship departs Vancouver, British Columbia, and sails to various Alaskan ports. For more information you can visit this continuing education page on the Sherman website and download the brochure. Not only can you enjoy a great cruise vacation with your family and extended chiropractic family, but you can earn continuing education credits as well. The cruise also benefits both organizations financially as each cabin booked earns a commission.
If you like to cruise, or if you've been wanting to try one, this is a great way to do it. I went on one of these CHIROCruises a few years back and enjoyed the warm weather of Belize, Costa Rica and Panama in February. It was really fun to be on vacation with so many of my chiropractic friends and to get to know their spouses and children better. Yet the ship was sooooo big that you didn't have to be with the group all the time. Traveling with and making new chiropractic friends makes for a great vacation whether you are a couple or single. Check it out!
