Sherman alumna Emily Muscarella was featured in the March/April 2009 issue of Verve. Read the story here: Verve Magazine.
Emily practices in Asheville, NC. Some of you will remember her love of West African dancing. Well, as the article in Verve tells, she's still dancing and loving it!
So I've been learning to make videos on Windows Movie Maker, thanks to some instruction from Dr. Joe D. It's alot of fun and I found that I can take great videos with my little Nikon Coolpix. But as we all know there are always parts you want to cut out and clips of video you wish you could string together and tell a story with.
A few weeks ago I was inspired to finish a big project I was working on for the Enrollment Services Department. VP Lisa Hildebrand wanted a video to accompany an email about the Sherman Clinic Challenge for prospective students.
Here is the resulting video. Watch it to get a taste of the CCX!
And think about this: The college is planning to offer a customized version of the program for DCs and their staffs at Lyceum. Do you think you are up to it? Do you need to foster teamwork, trust and integrity in your office? Let us know if you are interested by emailing me at [email protected] or the director of the Clinic Challenge, Dr. Ron Castellucci at [email protected].
At our quarterly Bagelfest Assembly today, the college announced the recipients of the Faculty Member of the Year and the Staff Member of the Year awards for 2009. Who won? Well let's watch the videos!
