Spots of Pride--Alumni Featured Positively in the News

I recently received links to two great articles about Sherman graduates that I want to share with you.

Alumna Marlene Mahipat, '01, was featured in the Community Times newspaper in Randallstown, MD, last December for her charitable activities to fight childhood hunger and homelessness. See the full article here.

Alumnus Cliff Wright, '81, made the news recently when he moved to Witchita, KS, and started a new practice. He previously practiced in Indiana, then in Arizona. Read the article on the Wichita Eagle website.

Being Busted at Sherman

Nick Wise coined the phrase “being busted” when he was presented a B.J. Palmer statue during a quarterly assembly of the college community called Bagelfest last year. (Bagelfest will be featured in another blog entry soon.) Nick received the statue for referring a student who matriculated. Quite the comedian, Nick joked about creative ways to fill the seats at Sherman. See what he said by watching the video. 

Montel Williams' Amazing Chiropractic Story

"It's the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me!" That's what TV's Montel Williams has to say about specific chiropractic care.

Just today I was made aware of the television show where Williams tells the world about his positive experience with Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractic, an upper cervical chiropractic technique that we here at Sherman are very familiar with. Not only do we teach the technique and offer such care in our on-campus chiropractic health center, but we offer seminars on AO Technique to doctors through our Continuing Education Department.
