Today the Christian Chiropractic Club sponsored a panel discussion for students focused on the topic of getting and retaining patients in the Chiropractic Health Center. A mixture of students and clinic faculty members gave pre-clinic students, and some upper quarter students tips on how they successfully built their chiropractic practices.
We discovered that student personality plays a role, but that any students, even shy students can successfully meet their requirements by networking in the community, following up with prospects, participating in spinal screenings and providing good customer service so that patients refer friends and family members for care.
I was talking to several staff members at lunch and we agreed that the assembly was very positive and uplifting and contained valuable, usable, tips. I personally enjoyed hearing the student perspective and watching the enthusiasm these panel members have for the profession as they talked about their experiences.
Chris Etheridge attended the assembly and sat right behind me. I’ll bet there is something in his blog soon about it. Check it out! His blog is always interesting.
