Few things are as refreshing as a sno cone on a steamy July day in South Carolina. These flavorful mounds of frozen ice drew crowds of Sherman students to the patio outside of the Olsen Building yesterday. It also drew some of the faculty and staff for a brief break away from the office.
The other lure for the students was the promise of one-stop shopping for information about all the clubs on campus. Displays, posters and flyers told the story. Club officers issued invitations for others to visit at the next club meeting. All in all it was a win-win situation for growing the clubs and for giving lower quarter students a smorgasbord of organizations that can help them further develop their chiropractic skills.
Student Club day is held each quarter and is organized by the Student Government Association and the Student affairs Office.
