Honor Wall Tiles Unveiled

Last week we attended a nice dedication on the new tiles honoring men that were installed on the Sherman College Honor Wall. It was a pleasant morning with perfect weather for the occasion. Four of the donors were present including me.

I donated a tile honoring all the DCs who have touched my life. You know who you are! Thanks to the many Sherman alumni who have provided my chiropractic care over the years. I have a fond place in my heart for all of you.

Sherman President Named

Well, the big news this week is the announcement about our new president. Sherman's own Jon Schwartzbauer (currently serving as VP for Academics) will take office on August 13, having been named by the Board of Trustees after an extensive nationwide search process. Jon is also the director of the Leadership and Practice Management Institute here at Sherman. We are pleased to have someone with such experience and commitment to subluxation centered chiropractic as the fourth president of Sherman College. Learn more here.

Jon is married to Mitzi Fox Schwartzbauer, also a Sherman graduate and instructor of clinical sciences. They have two daughters, Sophi and Jozi.

We've been busy getting the announcement out to Regents, alumni, friends of the college and the media. It's an exciting time to be at Sherman!
