I'm sure you remember that Halloween can be a fun day at Sherman College if you like to dress up or at least look at the others who dress for the occasion. I knew in August what I would be dressed as today when I found a Halloween nun's costume. Sometimes all the employees in a department will join together and dress in a theme. Luckily VP Alan Duesterhaus thought dressing as a priest would be fine and we borrowed "collection" plates from the café to complete our act.
The Admissions Department staff dressed as nerds. They and the Registrar's Office staff entered the Halloween contest for groups and tied. The Registrar folks were pot heads. You need to look at the photos to see what that means. (Hint: do NOT think back to the 1970s!)
Alan and I served as judges for the costume contest along with faculty member and alumnus Tim Allison.
If you dressed for Halloween and/or decorated your office, email me some photos we can upload into the photo album. Be sure to include your name, city and state, and who/what you are dressed as. Send the emails to [email protected]
Happy Halloween!
