Next week the college's Continuing Education, Research and Philosophy departments are hosting the International Research and Philosophy Symposium, IRAPS for short. Though the Alumni office is not directly involved with the program, we'll be on hand to visit with alumni who are either attending the two-day event or presenting papers.
I've heard that alumni from South Carolina, North Carolina, Michigan and New Hampshire will be here. I'm sure other states will be represented also. I'm really looking forward to being on campus to see our visitors and also enjoy a good-old southern barbeque lunch. That's pulled pork for any other Northerners like me (I'm a native of Ohio) who think about cooking out when we hear the word barbeque.
This year’s conference theme focuses on the philosophical and scientific aspects of the neurophysiological components of the vertebral subluxation. Now that's a mouthful! Doctors and students alike with hear the latest research results and philosophical musings from our profession's leaders and up-and-coming researchers. IRAPS happens October 22-23, 2005. This is just one of the many continuing education programs the college offers during the year.
