Fun Day!!

Once or twice a year we host a Sherman College Fun Day on campus.  Classes are dismissed and students, faculty and staff compete as teams at several different events.  We had a Fun Day two weeks ago, and everyone who particpated had a blast.  Here are a few pictures from the events!

Spartanburg County Libraries

The Spartanburg County Public Libraries operate with a staff of 175 in an effort to deliver the best service possible to the citizens of Spartanburg County. The Libraries offer 10 full-service local libraries, a Law Library location at the county courthouse, a Bookmobile, and a Story Caravan. Each location (not including the Law Library) provides a variety of programming for children, teens and adults and is equipped with meeting room facilities, free internet access, and shelves full with books, magazines, movies, music and more. For those who are not able to come in to a library, Homebound Services delivers books to shut-ins almost every day.

Since 1885, library service in Spartanburg County has grown into the vibrant, important system that continues to impress its citizens and its visitors.  To learn more about the library history, visit here.

Welcome Fall 2007 Class

On Monday, October 1st, we welcomed 17 new students in the Fall 2007 class.  Here is their class photo- don't they look excited as they start their journey towards a wonderful new career?  I think so!
