We all had a great time getting to know some future chiropractors at the Sherman Pride Tour last week. Some were already sure they are coming to Sherman, but for others, this visit sealed the deal. Admission counselor Kristy wrote about the event in the Reps on the Road blog, but I wanted to share what one prospective student said about his trip to Sherman:
"I thoroughly enjoyed the tour, the school, the town, the staff, the students, the philosophy and the opportunity! I can't remember ever visiting a place and feeling more welcome...or at home. As soon as I left the school on Friday, I missed it. I felt like I was leaving new friends behind.
"I'll probably visit a couple more schools, just to be sure, but I believe Sherman will be a tough act to follow. Between the friendliness of the people (which any aspiring chiropractor could benefit from acquiring), the individual attention afforded by the low student-to-teacher ratio, the straight philosophy, the tranquil setting, and the low cost of living, I can't conceive of a better place to embark upon my chiropractic journey. Previous to my visit, I was resolved in my decision to become a chiropractor but Sherman lit a fire in me!"
