I recently got engaged over the Holidays and have been trying to plan a wedding over the last month or so. I have had a lo of good wedding ideas but my fiance has not been thrilled with some of them. Here is a list of some of the ones that did not make the cut.
-Having a virtual wedding online where everyone creates a computer character and has them watch as the bride and groom get married.
-A Batman themed wedding
-A kayak wedding where everyone is on individual kayaks for the ceremony
-Having a wedding pie instead of cake
-Having a moustache themed wedding
-Having my brother Darrell be a walking guestbook, wearing a white t-shirt and holding a magic marker
-Trying to get companies to pay me to advertise their products at the wedding, like Star Jones had done (my mom watches the View a lot so I am kept informed of these things).
My fiance Jaclyn has been doing a great job of trying to get everything else planned out for our special day. We went to a wedding expo this weekend to try to get some ideas. It was a little awkward being the only guy in the building, but there were a lot of free food samples so I didn't mind too much. I feel like taking pictures is the easiest thing to do and does not require a professional. Most of the photographers want 250-300 dollars an hour as well, making me regret not becoming a photographer. Everything else seems pretty expensive as well. Some people were advertising that they sell wedding cakes for under 225 dollars, as if they are cutting you a break. I am not even a big fan of cake. I would ideally like to have a carvel ice cream cake instead (the one with the chocolate crunchies in it.) Those things cost 11 dollars at ingles. Unfortunately I lost some of my decision making powers due to silly proposals for the wedding (see above).
Congrats Greg. I'm sure Jaclyn will do a great job planning. :)

What if you had 12 of your friend's in the wedding party and had each of them wear a different Celtics players' jersey and all be in blackface (which is ok because I'm sure the wedding's in Kentucky or South Carolina). Dibs on Big Baby Davis.
You should also get a cookie cake with "Happy Birthday Mook" from the Liberty Tree Mall as your wedding cake.
