About Chris

  • Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Growing up in a dental family, Chris always thought he would end up being a doctor. But after spending time in his father’s dental practice, Chris realized he had “no real love for putting (his) hands in people’s mouths.” Following college, Chris started his own contracting business, but after his wife gave him an information package from Sherman, they decided to close the business, uproot the family and move to Spartanburg. January has come to an end

Can it be?...the first month of the new year is already over? Wow, I feel like I blinked my eyes and missed it.

Cupid's time has arrived - almost - so go ahead and start planning for that special someone. Chocolate and dinner out again.

SUPER BOWL SUNDAY IS THIS WEEKEND

Don't forget to tune in for the commercials...

Two teams from above the Mason-Dixon Line this year - so I don't have a favorite- it just doesn't seem right to pull for a team from New York or New England - Forget about putting a fence across the border with Mexico... shouldn't we think about putting one up to keep the South free of Yankees???

Just kidding.

PART II BOARDS ARE COMING...

Coffee It's starting to look like a good time to buy a new coffee maker for the upcoming study cram session.

My favorite liquid-study shrine has become no more.Tombstone

...may it rest in peace.

First the built in grinder went; now, the lid won't stay shut. It was nice waking to the hummmmm of the grinder, followed by that nostril rousing scent that induced the morning sleep walk toward the kitchen.

I should have bought a BUNN.

I'm looking for an XRI or Xray workstudy to cover a shift for me Friday Feb. 15th during the Part II Irene Gold reviews. There's a Lunch on me in it for whoever can help me out.

Get'n the word out...

SHERMAN COLLEGE of STRAIGHT CHIROPRACTIC

Sherman1

Those are the words that are hopefully in the forefront of a prospective students vocabulary.

Sherman is kind of the hidden treasure of the Chiropractic world. We are tucked away in the Upstate of South Carolina, but our faculty and staff are some of the best qualified instructors you will find, focusing on the spinal subluxation and its correction.

But you may ask: how do people hear about this natural healing hot spot?

Word of mouth of course - but mostly through the efforts of our hard working admissions dept. They travel the country spreading the word - arranging events at colleges and universities, and helping interested students to get all the information that they need to make the correct decisions for both themselves professionally and for the well being of their future patients. In fact, the admissions staff works so hard at getting the word out, they hardly have time to shop for current fashions.

Halloween -

because we know that without their cheerful, helping personalities, we may have not felt so at home when we all came for that first visit. Thanks again gang!

If you are looking to become a Chiropractor, and haven't visited us yet, I strongly urge you to pick up the phone and call to set up a campus visit. You will be glad you did. In fact, if you are nearby, stop in and say hello some time - I'll even pull some strings to see if I can show you around myself.

Here's a map to find us:

It's a New Year

Guitarhero3 It is a New Year - and I am rethinking my opinion of video games as a total waste of time.

Our house has recently become an XBOX 360 home. I have to admit that Guitar Hero III is pretty entertaining - in fact, it is down right addictive. I can proudly say that I have completed all the songs on the first play-list - of course it was in easy mode.

If you haven't tried this game, yet - I recommend carving out several hours to devote to cramped wrists and crossed eyes.

Keep an eye out for a possible upcoming Guitar Hero Tournament

as an XRI fundraiser here at school!

ROCK ON....
