About Chris

  • Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Growing up in a dental family, Chris always thought he would end up being a doctor. But after spending time in his father’s dental practice, Chris realized he had “no real love for putting (his) hands in people’s mouths.” Following college, Chris started his own contracting business, but after his wife gave him an information package from Sherman, they decided to close the business, uproot the family and move to Spartanburg. The Race for the Whitehouse: PART II

Vote Of course, the war is not the only issue that the candidates are beginning to spin.

Can you guess which demographic group is most likely to swing this election?

You might be surprised at who the candidates are focusing their efforts:

Worth,

on the issue of ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION:

If a baby is born in the USA, it should be required that one parent be a native or naturalized US citizen in order to obtain citizenship for the child; it should not automatically be awarded like a prize for winning a race.

The United States is fast becoming the Free BIrthing Clinic of the World. Who will pay to support these young "new citizens?"

It is probably safe to assume that the parents aren't going to bear the costs, as it is likely that their incomes are not reported at all. However, those legal US residents that must contribute to the public coffers will continue to foot the bill to feed, clothe, educate, and provide health care to anyone that manages to sneak across our borders.

Either we need to build a mote and fill it with alligators,

or stop making it so easy for the rest of the world to steal our jobs and burden our resources. Soapbox_2

The Race for the Whitehouse : PART I

Lilbush_whitehouse_500 Get Ready. In the next month or so, we will begin to be bombarded with campaign ads as the 2008 Presidential Election Race kicks into high gear.

I thought that it might be helpful to post some news clips that might help the confused voter to understand some of the issues driving this election.

Hope these help.

Get ready for many hours of insightful discussion this year...

(These people could be candidates themselves.)

The Top Issue in this election will definitely be Iraq and whether the Republican Administartion is able to show that there is stability in the region that will lead to a drastic troop reduction there. With the dwindling public support of the war, it remains the Republican's nemesis.

Check the clips to see just how much progress the Whitehouse is making with the war and some of the more innovative ideas for easing the burden on our troops:

Back for Fall

...boo ...hoo

It's been a couple of weeks since I last posted. To say that it has been busy, would be an understatement. There have been a number of details to finalize before we can adjust. Have to dot those "i"s and cross those "t"s, you know...literally (there is quite a bit of paperwork involved in practicing as an intern in a large Chiropractic Health Center.)

I was well rested during the break though, as I was fortunate enough to escape the recent Spartanburg heat wave.

I made the trek to Washington - the state, not the district - for a conference on the Blair Chiropractic Technique. Imgp0818

Using specific Xray techniques and a unique adjusting protocol, Blair takes into account the asymmetries that exist in most patient's anatomy.  This analysis helps to "blueprint" how the upper cervical vertebrae move together, enabling the chiropractor to custom tailor his adjustment for each individual patient.

The upper cervical vertebrae have a broader range of movement than other spinal segments and...

happen to Help to keep our heads on straight.

Think that they might be worth looking at a little closer?

The conference in Seattle was great. I was very impressed with the level of commitment the doctors that we met displayed.

Special Thanks to Mike and Mona Peterson for being the most generous of hosts while we crashed in their "barn." Nothing like roughing it in a barn with pool table, high fidelity sound and loft sleeping quarters over a rather inviting hand crafted bar.  The atmosphere in the red barn trumped the Crown Plaza in Seattle! What is this obvious blasphemy?

Surely, they do not come from the Upstate of South Carolina - probably some of the descendents of that fellow who burned his bridges with the South during those troubled days of northern aggression.

To the Blair Conference to straighten our perspectives!
